LIVE AUCTION Closing date, June 16, 2020 Another noticeable pattern coin is the 2-franc Napoleon III tête nue (bare head) 1856, which features no privy marks or Mint letters (lot 582249). Two previously unseen coins will be auctioned off at the June 16thAuction Sale, i.e . two unifacial proof-like strikes of the 10 and 20-cent Marianne coins on silver planchets (lots 578565 and 578566). 565030 The part dedicated to foreign coins includes a set of over 80 items. It will provide a very nice overview of world numismatics with - first of all - German and Chinese coins. Next up is an interesting series of Spanish gold coins, which represents eight centuries of Iberian coinage. Italy and its various states will also be well represented. The highlight coin of this part is of course a very rare Iranian 5-Toman coin, of which only one item had been identified so far. The lot we offer for sale is the second one. It is a 5-Toman coin of Nasseredin Shah minted in 1894 which comes from a French collection and has never been auctioned off before (lot 565030).
